I'm a day late, but only because I was doing other stuffs.

This new DeviantArt is turd. It only gets worse and worse. I can't even view new deviations or messages from those on my watch list any more :/

So I got a CD, some dvds, a book, a kite and monies.

Don't expect a post next year, unless DA rolls back to version 2 or something

Yup, it's that time again... The 4th in the series so far heh... Neah, the first time I did this on DA I had turned 20! - *quick maths* means I'm 24 today!

So, to list what I have received:

£20 in monies, which I shall be spending on stuff on Tuesday/Wednesday... gonna go out shoppin' with my mate so will get some DVDs or somethings

Thornton's Toffee, which is always a win!

'Falling Down' on DVD, which I am about to watch shortly

Resident Evil 4 for the Wii, which is semi-scary... I will probably take more enjoyment out of playing it late in the dark etc, but Falling Down takes precedence tonight...

That is all for now! My sisters is traditionally late, I shall get it tomorrow.

On a side note, I have (well, 3 away) reached 3,000 page views!

I've sorta neglected DA recently, I shall perhaps do some stuff again and get it on here. It can't be that hard to do something, can it?

Oh, also interestingly... I found "The Algebraist" by Iain M. Banks again. It is 2 years ago to the day that I received it, and I'm only halfway through it so far... I'm not really sure what's going on, but damned if I'm starting it again. I've still got a pile of books to go through after it, and it's stopping me from asking for any books for birthdays and Christmas, and believe me when I say that's a problem

The one time I want to upload a deviation in ages (first this year?) and deviantArt won't let me, 'cos of their stupid new file submission process... What was wrong with how it used to be?

I'm fed up of sites trying to do fancy shit that doesn't work for everyone.

So, until dA sorts its shit out, you'll have to do without my awesome skull picture, and I don't give a fuck about "stop whining, if you understood how much they have to do, yada yada yada" - if I want to blow my top, then I will

Hmm...

The front page is far better than it used to be. Why they ever  changed that in the first place, I don't know... and there are a couple of little things here (such as the friends list on the profile page) that have really spruced things up.

But what's going on with the profile page? - every goddamn box is fighting to get attention. Just leave it nice proportions and let me decide, goddamnit.

I've just been looking around and found a neat picture with some steps of how it was done, which involved doing it mostly in black and white, and then finally adding colour to the existing shading. Seemed like a fairly logical method, so I'm gonna give that a whirl later - might have something to show for it

I think this is the third time I've done this?...
I don't know.

Anyway, another year, another small selection of toffee

I got Evil Dead II and Starship Troopers this year. My brother gave me an IOU and my sister's is still waiting in the post or whatever, as per.

I've still not finished The Algebraist from last year's birthday, and I have a small pile of books from Christmas that are waiting too.
